Al Hilal has a never-ending story with championships and a history that started with the beginning of history itself. Al Hilal has an exciting miraculous foundation story.
It is long but great. Nothing could be added to or deleted from it. It can be only told by its source; the mentor of sportsmen and one of the pioneers of sports, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Bin Said who tells the story from the scratch, from imagination to reality and from a dream that has come true. He says, " The beginning was extremely difficult. We faced hardships that were about to devastate the whole idea. I have benefited from my previous 10- year experience when we founded Al Shabab Club in 1967. At that time, your mere affiliation to sport would have a misfortunate end. We willingly joint this activity, believing that sport is equivalent to politics. Our weapon at the time was the proverb " The wisest man is the most tolerant". We were not after money since it was beyond reach. The team, named the Olympic, was stopped, and was obliged not to practice its sport activity, claiming that sports is a waste of time. Then "the Olympic" came back to build it self for a whole year, carefully, with fear. The general assembly of the club was held in the mid year, to modify the council, by joining two new members, Mr. Naser Bin Gared, and Mr. Abd El Aziz El Aweed, as successors for Mr. Abd El Rahman El Samary, and Mr. Abd El Aziz Hayzan, who both resigned. Also, Abd El Aziz El Aweed resigned in the mid year, and was replaced by Mohamed Bin Abdullah Bin Hayzan. Al Hilal Club achieved great success in 1381 H., by winning the championship of the Great Kings Cup, after four years of its foundation.
