Riyadh - Prince Fahad Bin Salman Media Center of Al-Hilal Club 

 

The club board of directors chaired by “Mr. Sami Bin Abdullah Al-Jaber” launched Al-Hilal eSports team today Thursday as the first club in the Middle East; in a magnificent step that follows a number of the European clubs, that the club sought to keep pace with the great progress achieved by the sport of the Kingdom in all games, and the contribution for the spread of electronic sports culture, which is popular among the community, noting that the club board has appointed “Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Subaie” to manage this team; and the other details will be announced later in a press conference. 

 

Moreover, the Club President has offered gratitude and appreciation to “HE Mr. Turki Bin Abdulmohsen Al Asheikh” the Chairman of the General Sports Authority and the President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee for congratulating the club’s step in launching a team for the electronic sports to participate in the domestic and foreign competitions, added that this step comes in line with the great attention from His Excellency to the electronic and intellectual sports through the events and tournaments that organized and supervised by the Saudi Arabian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports. 

 

Also Mr. Al-Jaber offered gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan the President of the Saudi Arabian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports for offering all the related matters to facilitate the foundation of Al-Hilal electronic sports team, wishing that the team to support the march of the Saudi Federation towards enhancing the culture of the electronic sports which contribute to achieving the aspirations of the leadership towards the sports sector in the various activities.
