Riyadh - Prince Fahad Bin Salman Media Center of Al-Hilal Club
Al-Hilal Club held yesterday (Wednesday) evening the closing ceremony of the annual contest of the holy Qur'an memorization and recitation; which funded by the endowments (Awqaf) of “Sulaiman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi”; within the activities of “Al-Hilal Ramadan Forum”, that aims to support youth and encourage them to memorize and recite the holy Qur'an, in the presence of the Club’s vice-president Mr. Ahmed Al-Khamis; along with the Club’s member of the board of directors in charge of different games “Mr. Abdulelah Al-Mogren”, in addition to Mr. Saud Al-Subaie in charge of the Club’s social responsibility department, and Mr. Mansour Al-Ahmad in charge of the Club’s age groups. In which Mr. Ahmed Al-Khamis handed over the awards of the holy Qur'an's contest that included three levels, Memorizing the whole Qur'an, Memorizing five parts (Juz’)of the Quran from Surat AlAhqaf to AlNas, and Memorizing two parts "Amma" and "Tabarak", in addition to honoring the judges committee of the contest and handing over the honorary shields of the club to: “Mr. Emad Al-Sughayer” representative of “Sulaiman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi” endowments (Awqaf), “Mr. Mohammed Al-Zain” representative of Charity Association in Al Oraija district, “Mr. Ahmad Al-Shaya” representative of General Sports Authority in Riyadh, and “Mr. Ali Al-Sumairi” representative of Qur’an Memorization Association in Riyadh (Maknoon).
Mr. Al-Khamis at the beginning of his speech expressed pride in holding this contest, added that the club board seeks to activate the Club’s social and cultural role through Ramadan Forum, congratulating all the participants in this contest, and wishing them best and success.
