The technical manager of Al-Hilal first football team "Mr. Ramon Diaz" has assured the importance and difficulty of the group stage matches of the Asian Champions League; especially that the Asian competition is stronger than the domestic tournaments, adding that they will seek for achieving the first victory in the competition and get the three points.
That was said during the press conference that was held this afternoon in Muscat; ahead of tomorrow Tuesday match against Iran’s “Esteghlal” in the second round of the Asian Champions League 2018.
“In the strong matches especially in the Asian tournament; team with less mistakes often wins and our team is ready for the match after the good result in the last match of the Saudi league”, Mr. Ramon Diaz said.
Commenting on Ali Al-Habsi participation he added: “Al-Habsi is important player and I wish him the best of luck on the field with his teammates, we are pleased to visit Oman to participation in Asian Champions League and we call on fans to support us tomorrow as usual”.
At the same time, the Omani goalkeeper "Ali Al-Habsi" stressed the importance of tomorrow's match, confirmed his teammates readiness for playing the match and get the first win in the competition which is completely different from the domestic competitions because of the high level and rhythm of the Asian competition.
Al-Habsi said at the pre-match conference, “Al-Hilal is stable team due to leading the domestic league, and we are ready for tomorrow’s match, our team used to reach the advanced stages in Asian Champions League; and we will deal with it step by step, I am happy to be in my country Oman with Al-Hilal and participate in Asian Champions League for the first team which means a lot for me and I hope to appear very well in the match; and I am waiting for Al-Hilal fans in Oman to support the team at the stadium as usual”.
