Riyadh - Prince Fahad Bin Salman Media Center of Al-Hilal Club
In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of “Alwaleed Philanthropies” foundation, the Club Board of Directors chaired by His Highness Prince Nawaf Bin Saad signed a three-year agreement with Alwaleed Philanthropies foundation to improve the spirit of the social work and focus on the importance of the social responsibility for the Kingdom’s youth.
The organization in general, HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal in particular, is concerned with supporting youth and sport through different programs, in which this agreement comes in line with the interests of the foundation and the club to achieve the goals of sustainable development in the Saudi society by providing the means and facilities needed by talented and professional young people to achieve their dreams and ambitions, and it aims also to give women their full rights in the sports side, in addition to creating new job opportunities.
On this occasion, HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal stressed the necessity for developing the sports clubs in the Kingdom; and provide all facilities to host young people to to improve their sports skills and invest their energies.
Meanwhile, His Highness Prince Nawaf Bin Saad expressed pleasure at this agreement that will enhance the club status on the social level through the charitable works and initiatives that has carried out during the last periods, said that the experiences of Alwaleed Philanthropies foundation will be reflected positively on this agreement and will creat professional work that will benefit the community and the sports sectors in good manners.
Alwaleed Philanthropies foundation considered that this collaboration is a good opportunity to enhance international relations among people and to highlight the importance of social work in the Saudi youth society through the sports vision, and to show the spirit of moderate competition and improve youth personalities to promote their spirit of leadership.
Al-Hilal Club was represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors His Highness Prince Nawaf Bin Saad during the signing ceremony, meanwhile the foundation was represented by Secretary General and the Member of the Board of Trustees of “Alwaleed Philanthropies” HRH Princess Lamia Bint Majid AlSaud, in the presence of “Ms. Amal Al Kathiri” Executive Manager of National Initiatives, “Ms. Safia Alattas” Project Officer for National Initiative, and “Ms. Fahdah Al-Qahtani” Administrative and Financial Manager.
